Welcome

Every morning you and I get up and play "The World Game." Most of us do not remember what the game is, how it came about and what its purpose is. Most important of all we forgot who we are!

Currently we perceive the world from a perspective in which we see ourselves at its effect. "A Course in Miracles" introduces us to a very different perspective. This shift in perspective is not one of form. We are not merely seeing the world differently. Our very relationship to the world has shifted from effect to cause. When I look at my fragmented dualistic experience from this unified non-dualistic perspective, my experience radically changes. My response/reaction, of course, is now appropriate to my new perspective, which gives new meaning to the experience. I literally no longer "see" what I thought I "saw" before.

The reason I find the Course’s non-dualistic perspective so very compelling is that it is self-consistent, correctly correlates my experience of the "world" and provides meaningful answers to all situations/circumstances I experience. The peace I now experience is the measure of its effectiveness. The Course addresses four core questions that transformed the way I perceive everything:

Four Core Questions

  1. What is the world?
  2. How did the world come about?
  3. What is the purpose of the world?
  4. Who am I and what is the structure of the dissociated mind experiencing the world?

Over the years I have worked with hundreds of people who were questioning their current way of thinking and were willing to work within the Course’s perspective. I support them in looking at their experiences within this framework. Even though one is willing to accept the framework of A Course in Miracles, this process is not easy because the ego feels threatened. My role is to support participants in staying within this new perspective. While inquiry is part of the process, the validation of the effectiveness of this new framework is not derived from discussion or debate. It is the experience one has, as they interpret their world from this way of thinking, that validates its use.

"The miracle is taken first on faith, because to ask for it implies the mind has been made ready to conceive of what it cannot see and does not understand. 2 Yet faith will bring its witnesses to show that what it rested on is really there. 3 And thus the miracle will justify your faith in it, and show it rested on a world more real than what you saw before; a world redeemed from what you thought was there." The first topics of this web site examine our "Current Perspective" and should be read before going on to the remaining topics. "The Foundation" is my interpretation of the Course’s answer to the foregoing questions. This is followed by quotations from A Course in Miracles addressing the same questions.
